2-Methylisoborneol - Special Order

from £60.00

2-Methylisoborneol - Special Order

Custom manufactured to order.

2-methylisoborneol is commonly found in trace amounts as a taint in water. It is found in patchouli, contributing to its earthy aroma. 2-methylisoborneol is the second main aroma molecule after Geosmin, responsible for the smell of petrichor, the smell of soil after fresh rain. Geosmin is available from a couple of sources but 2-methylisoborneol is pretty much impossible to find.

To the best of our knowledge we are the only company offering sales of this material in these quantities. The only other sources we have found are in milligram amounts for analytical purposes.
